Well, Spring has finally decided to stay here in the Hudson Valley! We have been busy getting ready for our upcoming season. The snow plows are off the tractor and Jeep Grand Wagoneer, our rain barrels are re-installed, and things are starting to take shape in the garden. I've planted some beets, carrots, cabbage, and various lettuces. I'm hoping by next week to plant onion sets and get some seed potatoes started. All three of our bee hives are going great guns so we are expecting some honey this year!
Inside, we have taken off the flannel sheets but we are leaving the down comforters on the beds as we are still experiencing some chilly evenings. The Spring Peepers have been singing their hearts out these past few days, something that will lull our guests to sleep.
