Well, I haven't written much this past winter but we have slowly been gearing up for another season. Winter seems to keeping a firm grasp on the Hudson Valley as there is snow still on the ground.

Well, where does the time go? I just looked at my last blog entry and it was in the autumn! We had a very busy fall season and we would like to say thanks to all our guests who made it so.

Summer is definitely over in the Hudson Valley and the trees and the weather are telling us that were are going to have a "real" Autumn (unlike last year).
Peaches, tomatoes and most everything from our garden are done so I'm buying cider and apples from Terhune Orchards in Salt Point.
I have been busy grind oats into oat flour and rolling oat groats into rolled oats for our hearty Oatmeal pancakes. There has been corn grinding as well for our cornmeal pancakes.
